Thumbnails to Show You the Way
- The trail entrance is on your left side if you are looking at the Susquehanna River.
- See the grassy area, benches, and pavilion. At the trail entrance, you will see a big sign overhead that says Northwest County River Trail.
- Note the glass encased informational signs and posted article of White Cliffs of Conoy.
- Head out onto this wide paved bike trail.
- As you cross the bridge, take in the nice view of the Susquehanna River and a smaller stream flowing into it.
- Continue walking and you may see small grassy paths that lead to small lookout areas. Continue straight on the paved path.
- You will come to a wooden informational stand on your left explaining the Industrial Heritage. Here, you will see a larger entrance out to the cliffs on your right. Stay on the paved path just a little further and you will see a bench on the left side.
- In this area, you will also see a second large entrance out to the cliffs that you will want to take. Be sure to look up and take time to read the white metal sign noting important safety instructions and please be very careful, especially with your children.
- As you start walking toward the cliffs, you will find your post on a small tree to your left.
- After finding your post, be sure to take some time and enjoy the beautiful view looking north and south out onto the river.
- To return to your vehicle, head back to the paved trail (with the cliffs behind you), go left on the path, and retrace your steps all the way back to Koser Park.
