- Park in the parking area.
- To begin your hike, start on the trail to the right of the information sign (along the creek) and keep left immediately.
- After crossing a wooden bridge, continue along the trail for a while (the creek will remain on your right).
- Next, cross over another wooden bridge and continue following the trail ahead.
- Continue along the trail, following it uphill along a wire fence and then straight ahead, passing a field on your right.
- At a trail sign pointing left, follow the trail left and downhill.
- Continue over another wooden bridge and immediately turn left.
- Continue over one last wooden bridge and you will find the post near the start of the Oak Loop Trail.
- To return to your vehicle, pass the Oak Loop Trail sign on your left and follow the trail ahead.
